Little Creek Farm, North Salem, NY

I want to thank Little Creek Farm and Julie Frank, for hosting me and my oliver green D Ring Belts! The girls went wild for them. Britches are now being maufactured with much wider belt loops and the girls are eating up my wider style belts! What is it about girls who JUMP horses, I will tell you! They are AWESOME, ADVENTUROUS, and down to earth. No messing around, no fake-ness, no baby talking, they are regal yet very kick A$$! I love that jumpers love my belts!!

Thanks Brooke, Julie and the owners at Little Creek! The property is rife with beautiful horses, cute dogs, a fat adorable barn cat and some super fluffy bunnies. What an escape that was for me and Jackiee, my helper girl.

Awesome!

Dogwood Festival 2009, Fairfield, CT

I had a great time at this show because Amanda from Sorelle Designs, a great funky, chunky jewelry designer was next to me! The wind was terrible on Saturday night and destroyed my favorite tent, but luckily I had another one to put up on Sunday am. The wind took a couple crafters out of the show as they lost merchandise and their tents! Sales were a little down from last year, but it was a great show despite the economy. The organizers are great about listening to the crafters as they are a huge draw for the crowds. We were able to move our tents to a less windy area which helped a lot! Many women bought more than one belt, as usual and I had many return customers. I love being in front of my clients because the feedback is so helpful, and it is always great! I have never had a return and that speaks to my product, pricing and quality. I am excited to grow the company and feel there are so many untapped markets out there to fulfill. My skill is my ability to select great fabrics and I can literally spend 4 straight hours looking at fabrics and not tire of it. I am glad to have found a way to utilize my fabriholic addiction and make so many people happy!
Cheers!! Here’s to a great 2009…. hope to see you all out there….

Fairfield Dogwood and Chamber of Commerce Shows 2008

The Fairfield Dogwood Festival was a great show. They organized the exhibitors in a way which made sense to the consumer and picked many great vendors. This event is great for families as they have an entire area dedicated to sitdowns and meals, along with children’s activities. One jewelry designer sticks out in my mind, and that is Amanda Miller of Sorelle Designs. She creates wonderful, artful, and chunky jewelry for those who wish to make a statement. Her web site is wwww.misorelle.com. Check her out! She hails from a lively clan from Fairfield and her sisters are as much fun as Amanda on the personality scale!

The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce Show was well attended but the organizers seemed to have disappoint many of the exhibitors. I, for one, thought that the placement of vendors could have been more carefully thought out, since many exhibitors complained about their spots. The vendors took it upon themselves to move on their own to new spots on Sunday, which created more business for people who’s customers were unable to find them on Saturday. All in all, it was a very busy and great show. People were shopping, and the weather was great! Fairfield is such a great spot for oliver green d ring belts!

Coker Farm in Bedford, New York

The Dances With Horses III Show was a perfect venue for my product! The girls use belts to express themselves with their gear! The horses were beautiful and every one was very kind. I felt good about giving back to WE WILL RIDE, INC. as they are a worthy non profit org. that provides people with disabilities horse back riding time! Debbie, from the Westchester Horse Council is a super cool woman who put everything together and did a great job! I brought my dog, Roxie, and she had a blast too. She loves horses and wore her turtleneck as it was quite chilly. There were a couple of other older dogs there as well and they were milling around freely throughout the farm. Coker Farm is peaceful and beautiful farm and I hope to get back there again! Lots of grass and fresh air!
